Yong-Ren High School Fruit Biscuit DIY Workshop
"Boss, I saw on your official website that you hold hands-on workshops outside of your shop. I was wondering if there’s a chance you could come to our school to host one?"

A few months ago,
a teacher from Yong-Ren High School visited us.
"Our junior high students are very lively and really enjoy these kinds of hands-on activities. I want them to learn more about the unique local culture of Yongkang. Instead of just having us explain it to them, it would be much more impactful if you could come and share it with them yourselves."
And so,
we set aside some time recently
to bring our fruit pastry workshop to Yong-Ren High School.

From kneading the dough by hand, to wrapping the filling, rolling it out, and pressing the molds,
we also incorporated lectures and videos
to share the customs of the Yongkang Xishi Danbing Festival,
the story of how our grandfather developed the fruit pastry,
and the transformation and evolution of the business since the third generation took over.

We appreciate Yong-Ren High School's dedication to arranging such diverse courses and lectures,
ensuring that learning isn't just limited to textbooks.
We would also like to thank all the teachers for their assistance
in making this event a success.

We hope that through this relaxed lecture and workshop,
the students will gain a deeper understanding of the unique culture surrounding them.
