西勢國小手作體驗

Xishi Elementary School DIY Workshop

Invited by the Yongkang Farmers' Association and Xishi Elementary School
I went to the school last week to guide the students in making fruit cookies
Considering our previous experience
we decided to use smaller-sized fruit cookies this time
so the dough size would be better suited for the students' palms

Most of the students were trying this for the first time
and were unsure how to start once they got their dough
They were still unfamiliar with how much pressure to apply with their fingers and palms
But there were also a few who were quite talented
learning and adjusting as they tried
and they soon had impressive-looking results

I hope this experience
helped them learn about both the fun and the challenging aspects of pastry making
and gave them an appreciation for the joy of hands-on work!
